If you still attend school or you work in education like myself you will finally be in the midst of the summer holidays. It can be a great time but after the second or third week you've done pretty much everything you need to do. I thought I would share five little tips to help you survive the long six weeks you have ahead of you:
Set small goals - Every week you should set yourself small goals of what you want to achieve whether that is read a book or write a 1000 words of a story.
Be social - Go and see your friends and family. Make dates with your friends to go shopping, go see a film or just to grab a coffee.
Get out of the house - Whether that is going shopping or just going for a walk. Make sure you get out of the house or you could end up driving yourself crazy.
Arrange a movie day - Get some popcorn, sweets and a few great films. Laze around in your pyjamas either on your own or with a friend and watch films all day long.
Get creative - I find getting creative either writing, drawing, colouring is a great way to pass the time.
Whatever your plans are over the summer holidays have fun and stay safe.
