Fourth Week Of Exercise

I've certainly found the bug of going to the gym and working out, however I STILL haven't got my head around the dieting side of things. I am pleased to say I have lost 5lbs so far which isn't bad going. On the bright side I am feeling so incredibly proud and positive in regards to my 2018km challenge. This week I feel like I just haven't done as well as I have in the first three weeks. I have come down with a cold which has gone straight to my chest and has made my asthma quite bad. Here is how my week went down.

22/1/18 - It was absolutely packed in the gym and I struggled to find any gym equipment that was free. I found one of the bikes and jumped on quite unsure of just how much I was going to do. I ended up doing a full hour on the bike clocking up a total of 19.82km. I then went on the treadmill for my 1.60km walk and ended on the rowing machine clocking up a total of 1.55km on there.

24/1/18 - I started on the bikes again but could only manage 25 minutes, I find my back and my glutes get quite sore when I exercise on the bikes for too long. In those 25 minutes I got a total of 8.04km. I went onto the treadmill and did a 1.60km. Again I ended on the rowing machine and got a total of 2.36km which I felt incredibly proud of.

25/1/18 - I really couldn't be bothered to go to the gym and do loads of work out but I went anyway because I knew I wasn't going to get a chance on Friday. I started on the bike and could only manage 25 minutes again and got another 8.04km. I didn't go on the treadmill, I just wasn't feeling up to it so I cut my gym time short and went on the rowing machine for 10 minutes getting a 1.54km total and then I left and went home.

This week I managed a total of 44.55km resulting in 6.05km over my target. My chest was hurting too much to be able to go the gym on Saturday and me, my boyfriend and his family had gone out for a curry on Friday night straight after I had finished work at 6 for me to be able to go then. I was a little disappointed I couldn't do as much on Thursday or at all really this week but I still hit my target and in fact went over that. I don't know how much I'm going to be able to put into the gym next week, hopefully I won't be affected too much by my asthma to not be able to go.
