Festive Questions

1. Who is your favourite person to buy presents for? I love buying presents for my other half as I just love to see his reaction when he opens them. I also love buying presents for my younger siblings.

2. What kind of food did you leave for Santa when you were little? It would always have to be a mince pie with a glass of milk and a carrot for the reindeer.

3. When you hate a present, are you honest or do you pretend to love it? I always pretend to love it as I just can't bear the thought of upsetting anyone especially on Christmas day.

4. Did you have a real tree or a fake tree when you were little?

We always had a fake tree until I was in my teen years and we started to buy a real one. I now always buy a real tree.

5. Do you usually buy your pets presents for Christmas? No I always want to buy her (our cat) an advent calendar but I don't think she would like it. 6. Do you prefer giving gifts or getting gifts? I much prefer giving gifts and quite often go overboard.

7. Do you usually put a star or an angel on top of the tree?

It's got to be a star on top surely.

8. Do you own an ugly Christmas jumper? No... all my Christmas jumpers look great!

9. Do you open your presents on Christmas or Christmas Eve? Well seeing as Santa hasn't been yet you can't open them on Christmas Eve! Me and my boyfriend usually open our presents a little later in the evening of Christmas day.

10. Have you ever kissed someone under the mistletoe? No I've never had any.

11. Do you go to church for midnight mass? No I've never been.

12. Would you prefer for it to snow on Christmas or to stay sunny? I'd love a little bit of snow one Christmas.

13. Do you suck at wrapping presents? I love wrapping presents but I'm not the best at it.

14. Do you like getting gifts or feel awkward about it? I quite often feel awkward especially as last year I was handed the wrong present! I still cringe about it now!

15. Does your family drink alcohol on Christmas? Yes but I tend not to drink alcohol.

16. Have you ever built a gingerbread house before? No I keep buying them but never get round to it.

17. Do you do your holiday shopping online or visit the actual store? I tend to visit the actual store because I'm always too worried they won't turn up on time.

18. What was the most expensive present you've ever brought? The Apple watch for my boyfriend last year for it to break six months later!

19. Do you like surprises or do you prefer to pick out what you're getting? I like a surprise but hate knowing when someone has brought me something because I keep asking about it.

20. When you were a kid, did you help your parents decorate the tree? Yes we always got to help.

21. What's your favourite holiday movie? I have quite a few firm favourites including Elf, Arthur Christmas and Polar Express.

22. Would you ever celebrate Christmas someplace warm like Hawaii? No I'd hate to spend Christmas anywhere other than at home.

23. What time do you wake up on Christmas morning?

I'm usually awake at 7am! or quite often earlier than that.

24. Do you like the taste of eggnog? No, I've tried something similar once and it was horrible.
