Letter To My 30 Year Old Self

Dear 30 year old Shona,
how on earth have we got this old! I'm currently five years away from you and at the minute I'm struggling to imagine what life will be like once I reach you. I have so many questions for you and yet I know at the same time I won't get answers for another five years.
My first question is geared towards our career. At the minute we are working for New Directions Agency as a teaching assistant. We enjoy it but we know there are other things we want to do. Have we managed to get out book published? If we did get it published did we write any more books? I certainly hope we got it out there, it is our main goal right now and we are working so hard towards that goal.
My next few questions are about our personal life. We have been in a relationship with the most amazing man for four years so please please tell me we are still together (not that I am in any doubt that we wouldn't be). Secondly we would rather like to have a baby within the next year or so. Did we ever have that baby? If so what did we have, a boy or a girl, and how old are they? Thirdly this next question isn't quite something we are quite considering or we are so bothered about but did we ever get married? It's not something that is important to me right now but it will be nice to know. Are you still living in the same place or did you move? You love the house you are in now but you would love a nice big garden. Do you still have that pool table in the house? As much as you love it you really suck at the game so I hope you've improved at it by now.
I hope you look back at this when you turn 30 and maybe answer these questions but that is enough about the future. Lets talk more about the present. Life is going well at the moment. It isn't perfect and you haven't quite done the things you'd planned to do by now but life is still good. You had a bit of a fall out with someone you considered a good friend over the past year but you are feeling better about that now. You have some amazing friends and your family are as incredible as ever.
I hope you are well and truly happy. You deserve as much happiness as you can get.
Love you chick
From your 25 year old self
