My iPhone 7 Experience

For many people the thought of getting so excited about a new phone is ridiculous. However when I realised my phone contract ended just in time for me to upgrade to the new iPhone I started getting really hyped up for it. I fell in love with iPhone's about two years ago when I first got my iPhone 5s. I'd never had a phone that I loved so much.
On Friday 16th September, the day the phone came out, I headed to Cardiff with my boyfriend in order to get my phone updated. We went into the EE store and I was politely welcomed by the store manager, Jack. He took me over to a little table to discuss my update. He was polite and efficient. He managed to find the best deal for me based on how much I wanted to pay and how much date I wanted/needed. I was offered 5GB of internet data, unlimited calls and texts. I was happy with that and agreed to go for it. At this point one of the other members of staff had messed something up and Jack needed to go and help him. I didn't mind him having to do this, all that needed to be done for me was the forms to be signed and I could leave with my brand new shiny phone. So a new guy comes over, Duane, with the forms to be signed. I pointed out the fact that it looked rather tricky to read as the writing was small and the printer was running low on ink, he agreed. I looked at the forms and signed. I had my sim card put into my new phone and we left. We walked around Cardiff for about an hour and then jumped back on the train to go home. Everything was hunky dory, I was extremely excited about having a brand new phone. I decided I would set my phone up at home as I would have more time to get everything set up. When I got home I got straight to work at setting up my Apple ID and getting everything back from my old backed up iPhone. I downloaded all my old apps and then decided to check my account on my EE app. And this is when all my excitement goes away. Rather than the 5GB of internet I was promised it said I had 2GB. Straight away I got on the phone to EE to ask about it. They told me the app was correct and if my forms said 5GB I would have to go back to the store to sort it out.
On Saturday 17th September me and my boyfriend headed back to Cardiff to go back to EE. When we got into the shop Jack came over to make sure everything was okay. I told him what happened, he apologised and explained Duane had selected the wrong package. Luckily it all got sorted there and then however I still felt it had ruined my excitement of getting a new phone. Luckily I feel the new iPhone 7 is completely worth it and if possible you should all get one.
