My Hero

Whenever I was asked who my hero was when I was growing up I would always struggle to come up with an answer. I would always make up some silly sort of answer and just go along with it. Back then I didn't really know what I wanted to do so I had no reason to find someone who I wanted to look up to and who would inspire me. However in the last year or so I have found not one but two people who are my heroes and who inspire me incredibly well.

The first person who has become my hero is Carrie Hope Fletcher. Back in April 2015 Carrie published a book called All I Know Now giving advice to 13-19 year olds on school, friends and just life in general. I read the book and it gave me that big push to finally follow my dreams and write a book. Carrie said in her book that in order to achieve something you must put in the hardwork and effort. You can't have a bestselling novel unless you actually sit down and write it. Reading Carrie's book was the thing that got me to sit down and start writing my own book. For that reason Carrie has become one of my heroes, my inspiration to better myself in life.

My second hero in life is someone in my personal life. This person isn't a celebrity, he is a normal person who means a lot to me. My second hero is my boyfriend. He is quite a bit older than me and after spending a considerable number of years in his current job he has decided to take a change in his career. He took the brave decision to start a course in physiotherapy. I have so much admiration for this man. He inspires me so much to do something I have never done before. It has always been my dream to write so he is another reason that has helped me to start writing my blog and my book.
