An Open Letter

Dear Jess, I have decided to write this letter to you so I can let you know just how much I love you. I can't believe you are 13 years old. I was 12 when you were born so it seems completely mad to think you have grown up that much.

I know at times it can seem like I am just an annoying big sister who is just too nosy. However it isn't like that I am simply an over protective big sister who just wants to look out for her baby sister. It is quite hard for me watching you grow up. I know you are going to make mistakes, I know life isn't going to be all plain sailing and I know there isn't going to be anything I can do to stop you or help you from making those mistakes. Of course I know you are going to learn from those mistakes but it still isn't going to be easy watching you make them. Just know that I will always be here for you if you need me.

I hope you know Jess that I love you so much, I always have and I always will. I know in the past we have argued as sisters do and there is no doubt we will argue in the future as well. We both annoy each other but that doesn't make me love you any less.

No matter how old you get you will always be my baby sister. Words can't describe just how much you mean to me.
