Healthy Christmas Snack ideas

Around Christmas time eating junk food is all you want to do. Sometimes it is nice and refreshing to make healthy fruit snacks. I have enjoyed making all different festive snacks to share with you.

The Grinch:

You will need:

  • Green grapes

  • Banana slices

  • Strawberries

  • Marshmallows

  • Toothpicks

First you will need to cut the tops off the strawberries. Then you need to chop your banana into slices. Next using the toothpicks stick the marshmallow at the top, slide the strawberry under the marshmallow, put the banana under the strawberry, and finally add the grape. You now have The Grinch in a Santa hat.

Banana snowmen:

You will need:

  • Bananas

  • Strawberries

  • Grapes

  • Raisins/chocolate drops

  • Carrots

  • Skewers

Firstly you will need to chop your banana into thick slices. Next cut the tops off the strawberries and cut them in half. Then peel your carrot and cut small triangles for the nose. Next you need to add three slices of banana onto your skewer, then you need to add half a strawberry on top of the banana, next add a grape. Now you need to add two raisins to the first banana slice for eyes and then add three raisins on the next two bananas in a line for the snowmans buttons. Finally add the carrot nose on the top banana slice. You now have banana snowmen.

Banana - strawberry candy canes:

You will need:

  • A banana

  • Strawberries

This has got to be the most simple of them all but it also looks good when you do it right. Firstly you want to chop your banana into slices. Then you want to chop your strawberries into slices. Next you want to alternate the banana and strawberry pieces into the shape of a candy cane. As you can see mine doesn't look so great but you get the idea.

Strawberry Santa:

You will need:

  • Strawberries

  • Whipped cream

The first thing you need to do is cut the stems off the strawberries. Then you need to cut the bottom off the strawberries. You then need to add whipped cream in between the two pieces of strawberry. Add a small drop of whipped cream on the tip of the strawberry. Then add two small drops of whipped cream on the bottom piece of strawberry.

Making all these different snack ideas was so much fun but eating them was so much better. Give them a try, you will love them.
