Top Five Christmas Adverts

  • Dec 15, 2016
  • 2 min read

One of the best things about Christmas is the adverts that come with it (unless you are a parent and then all the adverts with the toys are a nightmare). Today I thought I would share my top five Christmas adverts.

1. The Coca-Cola advert.

For years the coca-cola advert was my favourite and it was always "officially" Christmas when this advert was first shown. It will always be one of my favourite. Seeing that coca-cola truck with Santa on the back will always be special.

2. Sainbury's 2014.

This advert will forever be one of my all time favourite Christmas adverts. It is the one that takes place during the war and they all stop to play football. I think the reason I like this advert so much is because it actually happened. It made me think about how those men must have been feeling on that Christmas Day and how all they must have wanted is to be with their families.

3. John Lewis 2013 - The Bear & The Hare.

John Lewis are well known for making wondeful Christmas adverts and this is my favourite one they have made. I loved the song that went with it and just all the hard work and effort that had gone in to it.

4. Sainsbury's 2016.

I quite like this advert and the catchy song that you can't help but sing along to as you watch it. But I love how they say and show the most important thing at Christmas is being with your family.

5. John Lewis 2016 - Buster the Boxer.

Usually John Lewis make sad adverts that you find yourself crying at. But no not this year. I found this advert so funny! I just couldn't stop laughing. I love it so much.

Let me know what some of your favourite adverts are for Christmas. Christmas is definitely the best time of year and the adverts just make it better. Leave a comment in the comments box at the bottom of the main page with your favourite Christmas adverts.
