Driving Home For Christmas

Today's blogmas post is coming rather late today because today is the day I drove home to my mothers house for Christmas. Today's blogmas post isn't really going to be anything special really because it is so late and I am a little unprepared. For the next two days travelling is pretty much what I will be doing. It was quite fun driving home today, I had my favourite Christmas songs on (although I was a little disappointed the song Driving Home For Christmas didn't make an appearance. I was so sure I had put it in the playlist but I mustn't have done) and I enjoyed driving through different villages and seeing all the pretty Christmas lights.

This picture really doesn't do this tree justice of how pretty it actually is. I was stopped when I took this picture and I just had to try and get a picture of it because it was so pretty. When I reached the motorway I just kept getting excited at the thought of seeing my family for Christmas. I am going to miss my boyfriend terribly until I finally get to see him on Boxing day but I am looking forward to spending Christmas with my other loved ones.

Tomorrow my mother, my siblings and me are travelling up north to see my older brother. I haven't seen him for a while so I am looking forward to seeing him again. We don't get to see each other a lot so it is nice to see each other when we can.

On Friday we will be travelling back to my mothers house ready to spend Christmas on Sunday. It is going to be a lot of travelling I've done in three days but that is what Christmas is about isn't it. Travelling around a lot and spending time with loved ones.
