Life Is Too Damn Short

Let's face it, sometimes life just doesn't go the way you think it will. You make all these great amazing plans whether they are short term or long term plans but they don't work out because life throws something rather unexpected your way. Earlier in the week whilst I was sat playing with the babies at work one of the girls asked me if I had always wanted to work in childcare and as I thought about it my answer had to be no. I had different plans as I was growing up but somewhere down the line those plans changed and I ended up doing something that hadn't crossed my mind before. Don't get me wrong I love my job now and I wouldn't change that for the world but it made me realise there were plenty of things I had planned on doing and none of them came true.

I have always been a big believer that things happen for a reason and I still think that is massively true. I'm thankful for all the paths I made for myself because if I hadn't gone about the way I have done things I wouldn't have met my wonderful boyfriend. I love him to pieces and the thought of not having him in my life is unbearable.

Now I just need to start doing the things I've wanted to do for a while. Over the past couple of months he has shown me it is never too late to start new things and live out your dreams. He has shown me you can do anything with a little love and support.

Today is my morning off work so I'm spending it getting a lot of stuff done around the house, however I've had time to sit and think about the extra little bits I want to do as well. Luckily with having to get up for work so early I've found lately I have a lot more energy to do stuff. It is now time to pour some positive energy on little tasks I want to do such as writing, exercising and even drawing. I've also spent the morning watching a video made by an amazing, inspiring woman who has shown me that is okay to dream and how to be positive.
