Blogmas Day 2 - The Christmas Tag 2017

1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?

I love The Santa Clause the most, it is then followed closely by Arthur Christmas.

2.Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Not for a long time. Maybe this year would be kind enough to provide snow for us.

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

For a long time at home with my family, last year I spent Christmas with my family. For two years before that I spent Christmas with my boyfriend and his family and now I will be doing the same this year.

4. What is your favourite Christmas song?

It has to be I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

No, I did once but we always leave presents for Christmas Day. I am half tempted to make my boyfriend a Christmas Eve box but I'm not sure yet.

6. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and let's not forget Rudolph. Yes I can name them all and without cheating. I'm quite proud of myself.

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

I always look forward to buying the Christmas tree which we did today. I also love watching a different Christmas film everyday up until Christmas day.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Real of course. I don't think I could ever have a fake tree ever again/

9. What is your all time favourite holiday food/sweet treat?

Pigs in blanket, a yule log and just generally lots of chocolate.

10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I much prefer giving gifts. I put a lot of thought into everybody gifts and I love to see their reactions.

11. What is the best Christmas gift you've ever received? I've received a lot of amazing gifts over the years including my kitchen mixer and my kindle fire. But the best gift is getting to spend the day with those you love... cheesy answer but it is true.

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

I really want to visit New York one year.

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper or do you fail miserably?

I love wrapping presents but I'm not the best wrapper. However I'm also not the worst wrapper either.

14. Most memorable holiday moment? As a child every year on boxing day my Nan would do a buffet and all the family would go round to her house in the evening. I always loved being surrounded by family. I would also say spending Christmas at my boyfriends parents house, after dinner is finished and all the table is put away we all sit around the living room exchanging gifts. It is truly wonderful with that warm family feel to it.

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa? If I remember correctly my older brother told me. I can't remember at what age. That and the fact every Christmas Eve I would struggle to sleep so I'd lay awake and I'd hear my mum carrying bags of presents down the stairs.

16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I do make them and I definitely made them this year. You will have to read my later blog to see if I stuck to them or not.

17. What makes the holidays special for you?

Everything! It is such a joyous time of year. The music, the movies and the lights fill everyone with cheer. Getting to spend time with the people you love just makes the day extra special. I just love the Christmas season that much it all just feels special.
