Every year I look forward to going and buying our Christmas tree. We always go on the first weekend of December so we have more time to appreciate the wonders of the tree and the festive feeling it brings with it. This year I was equally as excited as I would be any other year, however this year didn't quite go to plan. We started going to the Harvester for breakfast before we go to choose our tree. However this year when we pulled into the Harvester car park we were greeted by a woman at the door informing us they weren't open yet. I would have happily waited if it meant we could keep to tradition but I had to get back home to get into work for 10am. We had to have breakfast somewhere so we drove the next nearest Harvester but when we got there we found that one was closed aswell. Both of us felt so disappointed we couldn't stick to our Christmas tree tradition. We headed off and had a Mcdonalds breakfast which was nice, it just wasn't as nice as our Harvester breakfast would have been.
As soon as breakfast was finished with we headed towards our usual Christmas tree shop. The Secret Garden.

The trees out the front we lovely and we liked the first one we saw but we decided to take a look around to see if there were any others that took our fancy. We didn't see any others we liked so we went back and claimed the nicest tree sitting out the front. We took the tree home, set it out in the stand to drop for a few hours. The tree we chose has to be one of the best trees we have ever picked.

Only 21 days to go!
