New Years Resolutions 2018

That time of year has arrived again where we look at things we are shit at doing and vouch that next year we are going to turn it around and suddenly become the best at it. We all know within days if not weeks we will no longer be doing any of things we have promised ourselves we will do for 365 days straight. But as they say "new year, new me" and "this is my year". This year will be no different for me and here I am to mark my path with 10 more new years resolutions. I've got my head in that "new year, new me" space and I am determined to do better than a week or a month.
1. Take a photo for 365 days - This was one of my resolutions for last year and I failed it very early on. Why put it on for this year then? Well because I love taking photos and I would to take more. I want a new camera and was told "you don't use the one you have now so why do you want a new one". It's true I don't use my camera enough but that changes from 1st January. This challenge will give me the push to use my camera more.
2. Drink more water - I simply don't drink enough throughout the day. There are some days in work I start at 7am and I don't actually have a drink until 2pm or even later. I then go home and have a sip of lemonade or a sip of squash. How I'm not ever dehydrated I'll never know.
3. Get fit and healthy - I'm not going to promise myself I'm going to lose X amount of weight. That never happens. I'm also not going to say I'm not eating crisps, chocolate or cake again because that is not realistic. What I am telling myself is that I'd like to go the gym at least three times a week, I'd like to go swimming at least twice a week, and I'd like to go to yoga at least twice a week. I am also going to make myself aware that I won't be eating take-aways every night of the week, I am going to have more homemade fresh cooked meals and that does include salad.
4. Read more - I didn't read enough in 2017. I was too busy sorting the house out of catching up on TV shows. This year I would love to read a lot more. Reading is one of my favourite hobbies and I just don't do enough of it.
5. Fill in my question and answer book every day - Last year I completed the book for that year. I don't want to let that slide this year so it is staying on my list.
6. Stop procrastinating - I have to be the worlds biggest procrastinated. I can wake up at 7.30am when my other half wakes up work and think to myself "I'll get out of bed at 8am". I will then play on my phone different games, 8am comes along and I think "Just one more level on this game", 15 minutes pass by and then I'll decide to start watching something on youtube. By the time I have finished procrastinating it is time to get ready for work and I haven't done anything I have said I was going to do. This definitely needs to stop.
7. Become more organised - I've always known I'm not the most organised person in the world but this has been really highlighted to me in the last couple of months. I know I need to become a lot more organised and what a better time to start than now.
8. Learn how to control my anxiety - For months my anxiety has grown and at times I just don't know what to do in order to control it. I have found with going to yoga and I can do a little more to control it but I'm still not quite where I need to be.
9. Spend less time on my phone/social media - Some days I come home from work say a quick hello to my boyfriend, ask how his day was and then spent hours on my phone because I haven't had time to check Facebook because I was working. This isn't fair on him and I know it really bugs him sometimes.
10. Write/blog more - I didn't do enough writing throughout 2017 but now no matter how busy I get I know I need to make more time for writing and blogging. No more excuses. I even failed to finish blogmas. I got to day 5 and gave up. Such a bad blogger!
Wish me luck everyone. I have a couple of new resolutions to sink my teeth into and a couple of repeats. Lets see how far I get with them this year.
