Exercise In The 3rd Week Of January

I've never been the type of person who has really wanted to go to the gym, I've always much preferred to spend the evening in watching a film and eating take-a-ways and chocolate. However these last three weeks I've thrown myself into exercise and it is all thanks to my 2018km challenge. It may seem a little extreme to be doing so many kilometres but I've found it's giving me something to focus on. My week now focuses on what days I can attend the gym and how much I'm going to do whilst I'm there. Sometimes depending on how my day in work has been I won't do as much as planned but I will always try and get to my required 38km for the week. This week I wasn't really sure how it was going to pan out and I surprised myself with just how much I done by the end of it.
My third week of January went like this:
15/1/18 - It was quite busy at the gym and where I usually start on the bikes they were all full and instead I started on the treadmill and done 1.60km. I then went onto the bike and done 9.65km.
17/1/18 - I started on the bike but really struggled, despite struggling I got 8.04km done. I then went on the cross trainer but I could only manage 13 minutes resulting in 1.66km.
When I got home on Wednesday my other half became ill and I had to take him to the hospital, we were there all night so on Thursday I was far too tired to go to the gym.
19/1/18 - I brought my boyfriend to the gym with me today so I didn't do as much as I had planned. We went on the treadmill first and done 1.85km, we then moved onto the cross trainer and done 2.38km. We the went onto the bikes and done 3.2km, I was going to do more but I felt bad because he wanted to go home.
20/1/18 - I started on the bike and was only going to work out for 30 minutes but ended up working out for an hour and got a whopping 18.84km. I then went onto the treadmill and did 1.62km. I decided to go on the rowing machine for the first time, I only went on for 10 minutes just to ease myself into it and ended up doing 1.36km.
So as a total I done 50.2km. That's 11.4 more kilometres than I needed to do this week. I'm feeling rather proud of myself. Let's see what next week has in store.
